Quote of the day
'Optimism is a happiness magnet.
If you stay positive, good things
and good people will be drawn to
you.'
Mary Lou Retton
After a busy week in the office or
working from home; it's time to
look forwards to the weekend and
some well earned rest time with the
family or your friends: turning your
brain off from your job role can be
easy, or harder for some.
Positive planning for the weekend
can be a useful way to stay optimistic
for the weekend - this will make it easier
to switch off from what could have been
a stressful week.
Planning your activities ahead for the
weekend is one positive way to stay
focused, and to believe that there is
always a tomorrow; which will be
a happier time than in the previous
week.
Wellbeing thoughts for the weekend.
1. Friday evening; set aside 20 minutes for
yourself to focus on the weekend with either
some, meditation, yoga or an activity that
you know will take your mind completely
off work.
2. Sit and think positively about what you
are looking forwards to the most this coming
weekend.
3. The most important:
Think positively.
Positivity will generate happiness.
Happiness generates better health;
and a greater improvement in over-
all general wellbeing.
Until next time: enjoy your weekend
