Wellbeing Wednesday

'A Healthy outside starts from the inside.'

Robert Urich

Start your day off with a healthy breakfast. Now, everybody has dietary preferences

but we all know, or should know what a healthy breakfast is - from one that is clearly not.

So with not having to put food ideas into your heads and telling you what you should be eating: a

good start is where you can incorporate fruits and vegetables; a protein source and a good

carbohydrate that is low in refined sugars, so that they will release slowly through

the morning and not cause you to reach for the snacks mid morning.

Try and maintain this throughout your working day; making it a positive daily task to eat well

for personal wellbeing.

Healthy food - is healthy brain food.

Healthy information

Breakfast kick-starts your metabolism. This helps you to burn more calories throughout

the day. Giving you the energy and focus to work and or study.

Can a morning meal be good for your waistline?

Some studies say yes. Researchers have found that on average, people who eat breakfast

are thinner than those who don't. That could be because eating food with protein

and fiber in the morning keeps your appetite in check the for the rest of the day.

So, eat well; to feel well;

to stay well and, to age well.

Until next time

Matt
