Always have at the back of your mind
as an employer or a manager - and never
forget - the above quote, because there is
nothing truer.

The employer directs; the manager drives
and the employees produce the product.
And as the first quote states, the best way
to achieve this is to have more team players
in the team.

This can, however be difficult to achieve.
One of the best and most recognized ways
of setting off the process of producing a
team that is fully committed to working
together is to introduce team building into
the team environment.

Team building can be done in-house by
the employer or manager or if you are
lucky to have - an L&D department.

And quite simply for the team managers
and leaders amongst you. Play games,
introduce the team to each other and get
them to find one new and interesting
fact about them that would not
necessarily be known.

These are some simple things to get
you going.
